Nangdala Tea Garden Becomes First to Distribute Puja Bonus of 15% via Online Transaction

Around 1100 tea workers of Nangdala Tea Garden in Dooars received their Puja bonus through online transactions, saving a significant amount of time for both the workers and management, according to Mr. Singh, the manager of Nangdala Tea Garden. 

Nangdala was one of the first tea gardens to completely go cash-free, paying all its workers via bank transfers.

While tea workers in Dooars traditionally rely on their bonuses for Durga Puja expenses, Nangdala Tea Garden is the first to distribute the bonus digitally. This Puja bonus has brought joy to all the tea workers of Nangdala Tea Garden in Dooars.

The remaining tea gardens in Dooars are expected to complete the payment of Puja bonuses by 28th September.
